Revised Administration and Scoring of the Digit Span Test. The Digit Sequence test is an effective way to explore the labyrinths of people’s memory. Results show that the digit span increases with age and correlates with intelligence. The digit sequence has a superior effect when compared to non-digit tests. The Digit Sequence test reveals good psychometric properties, such as high internal reliability and test-retest stability. The test continues until the subject can’t recall the complete sequence, or until they repeat it incorrectly (Blackburn, 1957).In addition, the Digit Sequence test can be administered backward, which requires from the subject to repeat the digits in reverse order. We provide an engaging and easy form of the test.In computer-administered tests, the digits are presented on a screen, which eliminates any verbal and reading bias and reduces inter-rater variability.During the standard test, the examiner reads a list of numbers, and the participant repeats them. ![]()
